    Pontiac GTO

    Road Test

The Pontiac GTO is very quick and has a great-sounding V8, but it doesn't have the agility and handling finesse of other cars in its competitive set. On the other hand, interior quality is an example of GM's best, and the rear seat is comfortable. A stiff, imprecise shifter; a heavy clutch; and brakes that aren’t up to the performance of competitor’s cars compromise driving enjoyment.
