    Road Test

A shining example of tranquil motoring, the Avalon can easily pass for a luxury car. Its cabin is vast and quiet. It also has a slick and muscular powertrain, with a six-speed automatic transmission. Despite the abundant horsepower, the Avalon gets very good fuel economy, but handling is uninspiring.
