    Road Test

The Elantra SE is a well-rounded package with a roomy cabin, a comfortable ride, nice fit and finish and a quiet interior. It provides excellent braking and very secure emergency handling, aided by standard electronic stability control. Fuel economy is respectable at 27 mpg overall. Acceleration is adequate, if not breathtaking. A wagon version is also available.
