"Leaking for five years. Slow, not repaired"

"There seems to be a spinning noise in the dashboard. It seems like it should affect the mileage indicator by the sound it makes, but it does not. It just seems to be a spinning noise."

"When we bought this Toyota sienna from a dealership, it was less than a year old. The trim was already starting to come off from around the doors. It has gotten significantly worse over the years. Also, we had trouble with the dash cracking at an early time. The loose trim around the doors causes a lot of noise. It has been about the only thorn in my side on the body of this vehicle."

Had it rebuilt as it was cheaper to do that than buy a used car and I knew I had taken care of this one. Transmission shop said that most Toyota Sienna transmissions of this generation of minivans break in the same way mine broke; that I had nothing to do with it breaking, somewhere between 180,000-200,000 miles. Mine was about 186,000 miles when it broke. $5750 and loose change to rebuild with 2 year warrenty.""

""I had the rear rotors, pads and the passenger side rear caliper replaced in May of 2024 due to failure of the caliper. Just this month (May 2025) the same caliper failed which caused premature wear of the rotors and pads. The mechanic discovered the parking brake had also failed and needed replacement. After the work was completed a brake line also failed when the mechanic was test driving the van. The brake line was replaced as well.""
