    Other/unsure

"Start battery issues. Unable to start during cold weather (below -30C). Even with a new start battery I had to sometimes use a battery boast pack. Once above -20C everything was okay."

    Anonymous A., AB (2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""If I park the car uphill when the gas tank is full, gas leaks out the pump and gets into the overflow underneath the car creating issues and danger of fire. I do not overfil the tank""

Anonymous, CA (2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""The mass airflow sensor was very filthy, and all the functions of the car stopped. Car was towed to Toyota, and the sensor was cleaned the next day. I was told that this is something that is very unusual. And doesn't happen very often. The air filter is supposed to prevent this kind of thing.""

Anonymous, BC (2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Sun roof leak. Leak was not obvious because it presented as a saturated carpet on the passenger side. It took me a while to figure out why the passenger side floor mat intermittently had water. Lifted floor mat to find saturated carpet. Since it didn't happen after every rain storm, it took me a while to figure out a the drain which has an opening in the sun roof frame was clogged. Tried clearing clog with bursts from air can. Worked for a little while, then got blocked again. Next I used a 60in long, flexible tube cleaning brush. So far, no more leaks."

Anonymous, OK (2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""Alignment of left rear tire was impacted by hitting a significant pothole. Should have had alignment checked immediately but it happened during Covid shutdown. We drive the car for another year before having tires rotated and immediately the left rear tire, now in front, started making noise. They had mentioned it looked choppy. We thought it would go away but no. Next oil change we had an alignment and dealership said that noise tire would get quieter within 5,000 miles. They were so wrong because we now know a choppy tire will never wear and get quieter. The only fix was replacement of the bad tire.""
