Anonymous, GA (2017 Nissan Rogue SV 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Blower (fan) motor

Anonymous, GA (2017 Nissan Rogue SL 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Other climate system problem

"The HVAC system's dual climate system has a piece that is built into the HVAC box. It is plastic and will wear out over time. The dealer's "only fix" is to replace the entire box which is more expensive than the car is worth. Third party fix was to use HVAC tape to try and pack the HVAC box so the spinning part would hold. This worked about 2 months. Next attempt will be to use an enamel glue to try and hold it in place."

Anonymous, CA (2017 Nissan Rogue SV 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Refrigerant leaks

"A/C quit working in July 2022. Dealer said freon had all leaked out but couldn't find the leak. Refilled freon with added dye and advised it would leak out again. 3 years later it had all leaked out again. Took it to a shop who again couldn't find the leak so had to refill it again, expecting it will still leak out."

    Anonymous, KY (2017 Nissan Rogue S 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"There is a pipe that carries refrigerant and it rubs on an engine mount. Eventually causing a leak. New pipe is redesigned to clear the engine mount."

Anonymous, NJ (2017 Nissan Rogue SL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

""Sensor light came on for airbag, it was going to be around $7000 to have it fixed.""

    Anonymous, FL (2017 Nissan Rogue S 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

""Sometimes when going up a mountain pass (for me that was usually I70 near Eisenhower tunnel between silverthorn and Denver CO and Veil Pass seemed to be another place i had issues most), suddenly the oil light would start blinking like the car had no oil and you would lose all power before you could get to the side of the road. I would pull over immediately to avoid engine damage if I somehow had no oil, turn the car off, check the oil (which 100% of the time was at a normal level that indicates the car is perfectly fine on oil). I would start it again (usually within 10 minutes or less from the light coming on and pulling off the interstate), the oil light would be off, and all would be running smooth again. There were a few times it only did it once, and other times it would be every 5-10 miles MAX the entire way up the pass. I knew it had oil so I eventually would just pull over, turn it off, wait about 30 seconds, turn it on, and all would be well (frustrating, but fine). Other times it would happen once and not again the rest of the trip. While other times, it didn't happen at all. It seemed to be strictly in the summer months, but not necessarily in relation to hot temps. I admit I do tend to drive fast and push my cars up passes (o get impatient. I have to travel a lot and sometimes I just am tired of being in the car, so I can be a bit more confident and assertive driving than is probably normal), so maybe that had something to do with it, but my driving doesn't generally change, so it seemed unlikely to be impacting the issue. A couple mechanics believed that maybe there was just a sensor loose, so certain angles combined with maybe warmer temps (obviously any day in the summer... even a cooler one, is warmer than even an unusually warmer day during any given type of winter in CO), or maybe when I would hit a bump in the road while going up at that angle. It happened at night with cooler temps, in the early morning during a rain storm, and a few times on brutally hot afternoons. As soon as I hit the peak of he pass, even if the light came back on, I wouldn't lose power and could just keep driving to my destination without pulling over to turn it off and back on. If i made it through the peak without the light coming on, it wouldn't do it again at all on the decent or going over the other 2 higher, but now gradual and curvey passes between home and i70. It only happened once in the area i live within 10 miles of home, and i was on a very gradual incline that is not a pass by any definition of the word. We never figured out why, but I did start having some weird electrical issues for 2 days prior to a deer hitting the driver's side of my car (I saw a flash of movement in my peripheral and before I could move my eyes to see what it was I was hit hard and spinning sideways in the middle of the road. It totaled my car. I limped it 8mi home. The hard lft into my driveway felt like the axel broke. It lost all power & hasn't moved sense).""

    Fuel System/Emissions

Sensors (O₂, or oxygen, sensor), emission-control devices (includes EGR), fuel-injection system, fuel gauge/sender, fuel pump, problems filling up the tank.

Anonymous A., PA (2017 Nissan Rogue SV 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Fuel gauge/sender

"It started after I used a cheaper gasoline from a local station. The fuel gage was stuck at 7/8 of a tank.Check engine light came on shortly after fill up. Gas additive seemed to help. I will not longer use that station."

    Anonymous A., OH (2017 Nissan Rogue S 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

Anonymous, NY (2017 Nissan Rogue SV Unsure)

"the screen goes blank, then the Nissan logo comes up and it restarts. The XM no longer works. No matter what is up on the screen at the time, when the screen goes blank, it will disconnect a call or glitch the GPS. The radio will go back to whatever station was on though, so that isn't a problem."

Anonymous, FL (2017 Nissan Rogue SV 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Other in-car electronics problem

"All airbag system sensors had to be replaced and computer reset."

Anonymous, FL (2017 Nissan Rogue SV 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

    Noises/Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other noises & leaks problem

""There is not enough sound dampening insulation in the engine compartment. When accelerating, you can hear the engine whine as it goes through the stages in reaching your cruising speed. Once the vehicle reaches the desired speed, everything is quiet again. It is only when accelerating that the whine of the engine is heard. If one accelerates rather slowly, the engine noise is minimal. I believe more sound dampening insulation is needed under the hood and perhaps on the firewall too.""

Anonymous A., OH (2017 Nissan Rogue SV 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
