Found a automotive electronic repair business in New York state with a $650 repair price. Took 10 minutes to remove the unit from the dash, boxed/shipped it out and the business turned it around in 2 days. The failure is common in Lexus/Toyotas with units produced by Panasonic and only rears its head if the battery was disconnected for an extended period. Lexus wants $1500 to replace this gasket. I'm going to try a very cheap fit by using Permatex sealer which has great reviews for fixing these types of oil leaks. The leak is very slow, and does not require adding any oil between oil changes.""
