Anonymous, CA (2023 Lexus RX Hybrid 350h 2.4-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""If the car is left undriven for a few weeks the battery is drained of power due to the onboard monitoring system. Ironically, there is no on board monitoring system for the health of the 12v battery to advise you of its low charge and possible entry and/or starting problems.""

    Anonymous A., ON (2023 Lexus RX Hybrid 350h 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"The 12 volt battery failed without warning and created a dangerous locked out/locked in scenario as well as a ridiculous amount of spontaneous car reactions for a car supposedly low on power! It has happened more than once where weve needed to call for a service vehicle to jump start it and have the new battery replaced already but NO warning the battery was getting low..but they warn about a lot I dont want to hear about constantly!"

Anonymous, IL (2023 Lexus RX Hybrid 350h 2.4-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Battery needed boost after not driving for 1 week in winter"

Anonymous, AB (2023 Lexus RX Hybrid 350h Unsure)

"parked for 13 days 12 volt battery discharged completely result being locked out of vehicle. had to look on you tube to find that many people have had the same problem. also found online how to gain access to vehicle and then had lexus tow vehicle to dealer to trouble shoot. dealer determined 12v battery failed and they replaced it under warranty. all wheel drive needs to be towed on flatbed or dolly. dealer sent tow truck with dolly system. alignment was affected by tow which made car pull and had to return to dealer for alignment which they charged us for. dealer said we need to drive Hybrid more often to keep it charged up or keep it hooked to a battery tender. this is not possible away from home at airport or cruise dock. so we have to take my truck to airport so we know we have a reliable vehicle to drive home. toyota has been using this hybrid system in Prius for over 20 years and i figured they must have the bugs worked out and had not heard of any system issues like this so I put my toe in the EV/Hybrid water and found it too cold. Wife loves her 350h i just cant trust it"

Anonymous, CA (2023 Lexus RX Hybrid 350h 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    Seat controls - power

""Shortly after purchasing the vehicle I became very frustrated with the vehicle settings. Periodically, get in the car and auto seat settings would not work. Then auto temp control would also periodically kick off. Some radio presets would go away, my presets for auto safety such as lane avoidance or collision avoidance would either kick on or kick off. Took the vehicle to the dealer Lexus of Colorado Springs, THREE times to fix it. The first 2 times they could not reproduce the issues. The third time it happened ( with their electronics tech in the car with me) and they still could not fix it. Then the left front brakes started wobbling. The rotor was bad. They replaced it (for about $700), but would not cover it under warranty. Then I noticed the trim around the door was discoloring/fading. Warranty would not cover it. I filed a complaint with Toyota. Nothing was done! I n frustration I sold the vehicle!""

A rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Summary:
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) system. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. A software error may cause the rearview camera to freeze or display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
    What should you do:
Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed December 16, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB13 and 25LB06. Subaru's number for this recall is WRE25.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
    What should you do:
Dealers will inspect and replace the spiral cable assembly, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 8, 2023. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is 23TA08. Lexus' number for this recall is 23LA02.
