    Noises/Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Powertrain cooling leaks

"About 6 months my wife was driving home and a message said the engine was overheated. There didn't appear to be a coolant leak. The vehicle was undrivable and the dealership said it would be about a month before they would even look at it. We found another dealership about 45 minute away that looked at it sooner. The cost to repair was almost $4000 and they wouldn't cover it under the warranty or the platinum add-on warranty."

Anonymous, TX (2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 3.8-L V6)

"Radiator was leaking and had to be replaced"

Anonymous, OH (2022 Hyundai Palisade SEL 3.8-L V6)
    Squeaks or rattles

"About a month ago I noticed a knocking sound coming from the engine. The vehicle was serviced just before I noticed the knocking sound but the dealership didn't mention anything about it."

Anonymous, TX (2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 3.8-L V6)

    Anonymous A., FL (2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 3.8-L V6)
    Other electrical system problem

"there is a panel in the rear hatch area behind the third seat used to fold down the 2nd and 3rd row chairs; the right 2nd row captain chair control stopped working; this required 4 trips to the Hyundai service department and many hours of waiting to get repaired (it appears that was due to poor training and supervision of the mechanic along with poor communication from the dealership service department)"

Anonymous, NC (2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 3.8-L V6)

    Paint/Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.

    What Owners Say

Paint (fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling)

"In December of 2024 I noticed a section of paint peeling off on the left rear quarter panel. Approximately the size of the palm of my hand. As the vehicle was beyond the 36 month paint warranty, I did not persue actions through Hyundai. When I took the vehicle in for service in April, the Service Advisor was taking before service photos and noticed the missing paint. She reviewed the rest of the vehicle closely and found some more smaller spots missing paint. She took photos and said she would send them to Hyundai to review. A week later, she called me and told my Hyundai had agreed to repaint the affected areas of my Palisade. They arranged and paid for a rental vehicle for me for the two weeks the vehicle was being repaired. The repair was completed and you cannot tell any work was done on the paint. It looks all original. They also told me and provided me with a document stating that I have lifetime warranty on the paint for the repaired panels. Overall I was quite satisfied with the outcome, but annoyed that the paint started peeling in the first place."

    Anonymous A., FL (2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 3.8-L V6)

    Springs or torsion bars

""Not sure when it exactly started, however, the issue was a continuous knocking sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. The dealer replaced the shock absorber assy on both sides. This however, did not fix the problem and the knock sound persists today.""
