"The vehicle gear display vs would blink D while in drive mode, indicating a transmission problem. Dealer was confused how to deal with it. Both incidences involved leaving the vehicle multiple days as they did not know what the issue was. The wiring harness to the transmission was replaced and the harness from the dashboard."
Anonymous, NY (2023 Honda Pilot Elite 3.5-L V6)""On the highway, when downshifting from 8 to 7 (on hills is the only time this happens) the shift is very noticeable. The whole car shudders. This happens every time I drive on the highway. It's possible it has smoothed out some but I might just be used to it at this point. All other shifting, up and down, is smooth and barely noticeable.""

"At around 21000 miles, started experiencing roaring sound at speed, possibly a bad bearing or tire issue. Dealer mechanic inspected and reported cupping on all tires and recommended a new set of tires for $1400. Discount Tire facility inspected tires and they also found cupping and rebalanced one tire. Roaring sound continued. Following 2,000 mile trip, had different dealer replace all tires, Goodyear Eagle 18, and perform alignment. Alignment only required minor adjustments. Their mechanic took video of undercarriage and reported no visible problems with suspension or all wheel drive system. Very disappointing to speed $1000 to replace a set of tires after only 24,000 miles, a first for me in over 70 years of driving."
