""The windshield washer acted-up in the final week of the "Certified Pre-owned" warrantee extension @ less than 36,000 miles resulting in a "REJECTED" sticker on the annual State Safety Inspection. Honda Dealer's Service Dept claimed it was likely some debris plugging the line but I'd have to return next week so they could troubleshoot it. The following week they said they flushed the line & it worked fine & passed inspection. On the way home from that visit it failed again. I also noticed the rear hatch washer was likewise malfunctioning. Thus I knew the pump motor had to be failing. On the 3rd visit they agreed with me on the problem but said the "Certified" warrantee had EXPIRED and the repair would be MY EXPENSE (hundreds of $$)! Following a contentious discussion with the Service Manager, in which I had to assert my thorough knowledge of the contract, he spoke to the Sales Manager who had negotiated the original purchase. That manager confirmed that the repair should in-fact be covered. However the part was back-ordered; requiring a 4th visit to finally complete the repair. N.B.(each visit was a 30 mile round-trip to/from home & took between 3 & 5 hours of my day, which I could not have done if I were not retired).""
