CR's Take
Considering its heft, the Expedition is remarkably capable on the road. This large SUV, based on the F-150 pickup, corners competently. Minus cargo, its ride is firm and a bit jiggly, however. Four-wheel-drive Expeditions come with full-time systems. Front- and second-row seating is roomy but not very comfortable. The third-row seat is supposed to accommodate three people, but it's cramped. We also found parking difficult and visibility a problem due to the Expedition's tall and large proportions.
