"After approximately 11,000 miles the brakes gradually started to squeak during normal low speed driving (through parking lots, for example). I took it to a CHEVROLET dealership and they found nothing functionally wrong with the brakes although they did aknowledge the squeaking. I was informed that I could fix the problem but it would not be covered under warranty because there is no brake drag or sticking or any other functional problem. The squeak was so loud and pervasive that it became embarrassing. I "bedded" the brakes (do not attempt unless you are a mechanic and/or very knowledgeable and experienced with that process). The bedding fixed the problem for about 3,000 to 4,000 miles, but then the problem very gradually returned. Now I just accept that my CHEVROLET is going to announce itself all around any parking lot or drive through with a loud squeal."

"After market remote start installed before I took delivery of the new vehicle. It has been a problem since about 6 months old, and continues to cause random electrical problems that have almost left me stranded on 3 occasions."
