    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"Electronic Emergency Brake. Continued problems getting it to disengage. Could turn on but could not turn off."

Anonymous A., CA (2019 Chevrolet Traverse High Country 3.6-L V6)

"When in park the transmission didn't know it was in park. The park switch wasn't seen. You couldn't start the car or do anything since the vehicle didn't know it was in park. This started about 4 years into ownership. It happened quite often after the initial time. Dealer fixed it but I paid for the repair. This happened a second time about 1 year later. The same thing was happening but the shift linkage with a different switch was blamed and I had to pay again. There was a service bulletin on this issue and I complained to GM about it. They did nothing about it but did give me a free oil change. Since that time it hasn't happen again. I guess it's resolved for now."

    Anonymous A., ON (2019 Chevrolet Traverse LT 3.6-L V6)

"Shifter wont lock into PARK, will roll when I get out of car to open our gate. Had it fixed once @ dealership, but again doing same thing. CHEVROLET should be recalling for this dangerous flaw."

    Transmission Minor

Gear selector and linkage, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, rough shifting, slipping transmission, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Rough shifting

"Rough shifting from when we purchased it with 60k miles on it. We flushed the system and added Lubeguard which temporarily smooths out the shifting. We've done this 3x in the time we've owned it."

    Anonymous A., GA (2019 Chevrolet Traverse LT 3.6-L V6)

"Almost from day 1, my Traverse studdered when it shifted. My dealer would't fix it on a service buletin because they couldn't duplicate the problem. After several yaers of putting up with the annoyance, I finally paid to have them chage the type of trans oil and flush it. It helped, but the problem persisted. I finally took it to a local shop, which changed the trans oil with "Mobil One" oil. I haven't had any problems since."

Anonymous, MI (2019 Chevrolet Traverse LT 3.6-L V6)

    Paint/Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.

    What Owners Say

Paint (fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling)

""The issues with loose trim and faulty paint is not due to manufacturing. It is because the dealer in Sarasota, FL did shoddy work that was slow and incomplete. They took five weeks to perform repairs after Hurricane Ian and only completed maybe 80% of the work. When I had to start paying for my rental after week four I took the vehicle back.""
