    What Owners Say

    Squeaks or rattles

"Harness clip on the dealership installed puddle lamps was not secured properly and caused a rattle by the LF wheel."

Anonymous, DE (2025 Cadillac Optiq Sport Electric)

"My 2025 Cadillac Optiq Sport 2 has been to the dealership 5 separate times to resolve a persistent rattle/wind whistle in the drivers door. I have done ride alongs with technicians, GM has flown in a field engineer to inspect the vehicle. After 4 repair attempts GM and Cadillac are calling the defect a "characteristic of the vehicle" and described the noise as normal for this class of vehicle. I am saddened and frustrated that GM and Cadillac suddenly changed their minds on resolving this defect with my vehicle. I do not understand why GM and Cadillac suddenly retracted their want to resolve this defect and decided to call it normal and a characteristic of the vehicle. I was without my vehicle for more than 20 business days since January 25th, 2025 and the defect is still not resolved."

Anonymous A., OK (2025 Cadillac Optiq Sport Electric)

"The rear cargo area of my 2025 Cadillac Optiq Sport 2 has a multitude of squeaks and rattles. GM and Cadillac called these noises a "characteristic of the vehicle" and were described as normal for this class of vehicle. I was even told by my contact at the GM Resolution Center that I "purchased an entry level vehicle" and that my "expectations for a quiet cabin and better build quality were unrealistic"."
