What is it? Nissan introduced the updated 370Z coupe in February. Now with spring arriving, its convertible time! The 370Z convertible has the same 332-hp, 3.7-liter V6, mated to a choice of a seven-speed automatic or six-speed manual with automatic rev-matching shift. The 370Zs lined soft-top has a larger glass rear-window than the previous version, and it is designed to maintain the sloped rear profile of the hatchback Z. The one-touch power top with a painted hard tonneau can be operated by one of two buttons, on the door or the console. The Z has an increasingly rare touch-screen navigation system.

What is new or notable: Integrated heated and cooled mesh seats make open-air driving more comfortable. Lightweight aluminum hood, door panels, and trunk offset the extra structural weight of the convertible.

When will it be available? Late summer 2009.
