What is it? Building on the current Outlander, Mitsubishi is set to debut the GT Prototype at the New York International Auto Show. This sporty crossover will feature a more powerful 3.0-liter V6 engine with a transmission that can automatically shift into neutral when the vehicle is in idle. Power is routed through an enhanced all-wheel-drive system aimed to increase performance and fuel economy, as well as handling.

More details will be unveiled during the official press conference on April 9th.
