What is it?
The Roadjet concept vehicle is a tallish midsized wagon that has five seats: four for adults and a toddler seat located behind the rear seat. The Roadjet uses Audi's 3.2-liter V6 engine with new electronic valve-lift adjusters to produce 300 horsepower. Four settings adjust the suspension, steering, transmission, and engine for sportier or more relaxed performance. The interior features individual video screens in each of the four front seats with separate controls for Audi's Multi-Media Interface, which integrates radio and climate controls. And for those rare moments when a Starbucks is nowhere in sight, a single-cup espresso-maker is located in the back seat.
What is new or notable?
An intriguing feature is the built-in child seat. It features an integral four-point harness and a power slide to help save a parent's back when loading their child.
CR's take:
At first glance, this wagon, sized to fit between the A4 and A6, seems like an A3 on steroids.
