2009 Dodge Challenger
What is it? The Challenger is based on a shortened-wheelbase version of the Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger platform, and it is styled much like its1970s namesake. Only the high-performance SRT8 model will be offered for 2008, with the same 6.1-liter, 425-horsepower Hemi V8 and five-speed automatic transmission used in the SRT8 Charger. A production run of 6,400 units is planned for 2008, and each will have a numbered plaque on the dash.
