What is it? The RA is a sporty coupe concept that Mitsubishi says will combine driving performance with clean diesel power. The engine of the RA is a turbocharged 2.2 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine with a maximum output of 201 hp. The RA has all-wheel drive, active steering, active suspension, and stability control.

What is new or notable? The RA uses lightweight materials to help reduce vehicle weight for improved performance, fuel economy and safety. The body is made from an aluminum frame and components. The hood, fenders, and other outer panels are molded from impact-resistant, recyclable plastic resin.
