What is it? Chevrolet is hedging its bets with the seven-seat
Orlando. Should the market shift toward thrifty, fuel-efficient people
movers, it will have a three-row model positioned under the new Equinox to
fill that role. Think of it as a Kia Rondo and Mazda5 competitor.
Based on the Cruze sedan platform, the Orlando show car has a 2.0-liter
turbodiesel engine that creates 150 horsepower and 235 lb.-ft. of torque.
Production details will be announced in the near future.
What is new or notable? The interior is a flexible arrangement with
theater-style seating. The second- and third-row seats fold flat into the
floor to create a relatively large cargo space.
When will it be available? 2011
